Why Shanghai is so attractive?

Young expatriates will tell you that you’d rather be in Shanghai at the moment than in our old western countries. Thanks for a super booming economy, life is sweet in Shanghai!
Life cost is extraordinary cheap you will enjoy all the aspect of a modern city. Shanghai has everything: Bar, night club, restaurants and even a ski sloap!
So called "pearl of orient" it's also all about service: you can enjoy food delivery in the middle of the night, 24/7 convenient store at each corner, cleaning ladies, driver, etc.
Shanghai is so clean and modern that people say that you don't really feel in China.
Eventhought Shanghai is the largest city of China, everything is concentrated in the city center called the French concession.
From the historic Bund to the hi-fi XuJiaHui, from the luxurious quarter of JingAn Temple/ Nanjing Road to cozy Hengshan Road, the French concession is the favorite district of Shanghai residents.  The French concession is quiet, street are French-tree-lined, you can find numerous small café-bar and authentic shanghaienese houses. (Far away from the psychedelic towers of Pudong)
Kampus apartment are all located in the French concession or in JingAn district (Jing An being very similar to French concession and just north of it)

What to do in Shanghai?

On a sunny week end, a young expatriate's life is typically scheduled.
After work on Friday evening it’s time for week-end celebration. Everybody enjoy's restaurants and meet with friends. After restaurant western expat will go to the pub and heat the atmosphere before going to club or concert. New comers will also try the traditional KTV Karaoke, national sport in China.. If you like parties and fun, you will love Shanghai by night.

On Saturday some will choose to go for the craziness of Shanghai shopping. Because Shanghainese are the biggest consumer in the world, you can go shopping everywhere and find everything: Giant shopping mall, electronic and Hi-Fi Malls, flower market, fabric market, fake market, luxury avenue (HuaHai road and Nanjing Road). Don't foregt in Shanghai it's all about bargain!
Other will choose more sportive activities. Thanks to the great expat community, you can practice all activities in Shanghai. Soccer (two major asian leagues), Tennis, Sailing, Yoga, Basketball, even Ice Hockey and Baseball!!
On Sunday it’s time for relaxation. After a generous lunch, people will enjoy green parks and go for the traditional foot massage or body massage.
